We look at your skin, talk through your goals and recommend an option and a schedule. Consultations are complimentary.

Treatment

Recovery

What is microneedling?
Microneedling is a treatment that uses fine, sterile needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin. This prompts the skin’s natural repair process, supporting collagen and elastin and improving texture and tone over time.
Does microneedling hurt?
Sensation varies by area and from person to person. Your provider will talk you through how we keep you comfortable before you begin.
How many microneedling treatments will I need?
Microneedling works best as a series, with treatments booked 6 to 8 weeks apart so your skin has time to renew in between. Your provider will suggest a number at your consultation.
How long is the downtime after microneedling?
Dryness, rough skin, tightness, redness, itching and peeling are normal for 2 to 7 days, depending on your skin’s sensitivity. Avoid makeup for the first 24 hours, and avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for 2 weeks. Our microneedling pre-care and aftercare guide has the full routine.
Does microneedling help with acne scars?
It can. Microneedling is used to improve the appearance of acne scarring and uneven texture over a series of treatments. A consultation will confirm whether it suits your skin.
What is the difference between microneedling with vitamins, VAMP and PRP?
All three use SkinPen. Microneedling with vitamins is the classic treatment. VAMP pairs microneedling with PDRN. PRP and PRF use growth factors from your own blood, prepared in clinic, and are performed by a nurse. Your provider will recommend the option that fits your skin goals.
Is professional microneedling different from at-home devices?
